By the blessings of Anant Vibhushit Shri Ravishankar Ji Maharaj, Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Ji, Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University {SRU} Raipur was founded by Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Lok Kalyan Trust (SRLKT) in 2018 established Under an act of State Government of Chhattisgarh, in the exercise of the power conferred by the Chhattisgarh Private University (Establishment and Operation) Act 2005 as notified by the Higher Education Department Government of Chhattisgarh in ordinary Gazette of Chhattisgarh. Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University is recognized under section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956 and granted the coveted status under Sec12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. SRU is the 13th Private University in the country to be recognized under Sec 12 B. The SRU is located in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh.
